Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria - Melbourne Gardens

Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria are botanic gardens across two sites - Melbourne and Cranbourne. Melbourne Gardens was founded in 1846 when land was reserved on the south side of the Yarra River for a new botanic garden. It extends across 36 hectares that slope to the river with trees, garden beds, lakes and lawns.

Fitzroy Gardens

 

The Fitzroy Gardens are 26 hectares located on the south-eastern edge of the Melbourne Central Business District in East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The gardens are bounded by Clarendon Street, Albert Street, Lansdowne Street, and Wellington Parade with the Treasury Gardens across Lansdowne street to the west.

Edinburgh Gardens is a large park located in North Fitzroy. It is bounded by Brunswick Street and St Georges Road to the west, the curve of Alfred Crescent to the north and east, and Freeman Street to the south.

Melbourne Zoo

The Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens, commonly referred as the Melbourne Zoo and simply as the Zoo among locals, is a zoological park in Melbourne, Australia. It is located within Royal Park in Parkville, approximately 4 kilometres north of the centre of Melbourne. It is the primary zoo serving Melbourne.

Carlton Gardens

The Carlton Gardens is a World Heritage Site located on the northeastern edge of the Central Business District in the suburb of Carlton, in Melbourne, Australia. The 26-hectare site contains the Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne Museum and Imax Cinema, tennis courts and an award-winning children's playground.

Como Estate

Como House is a historical house, with associated gardens in the City of Stonnington, Victoria, Australia. It was constructed in 1847 for Sir Edward Eyre Williams, and now serves as a tourist attraction under the custodianship of the National Trust of Australia.

Jells Park

Jells Park is a public park in Wheelers Hill, a suburb to the south-east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Opening on 30 April 1976, the park attracts in excess of 700,000 visitors a year. The park is in excess of 127 hectares and contains 9 kilometres of bike paths and a fitness station area.

Studley Park Boathouse

Yarra Bend Park is a 260 hectare park in Kew.  It is the largest area of natural bushland left in inner Melbourne. The most notable feature of the park is the Yarra River which flows for 12 km through it. The park hosts two golf courses, two historic boathouses, sheds and a number of cycle and walking trails.
